RME 4.0 Software Repository

Hi

I tried to collect Software from a cat 6506 and get follow message:

Processing Device : device_name

Start Time : Mon Jan 16 14:41:14 MET 2006

Device is locked for exclusive access.

The supported protocols for image transfer are: TFTP

Importing the image s72033-pk9sv-mz.122-18.SXD4.bin from the device sup-bootflash into the Software Repository.

Image will be copied to rep_sw1137418884258 using TFTP.

Could not import s72033-pk9sv-mz.122-18.SXD4.bin from the device.

Error Message:

SWIM1124: Failed to copy the image from Flash due to the reason - copyInvalidServerAddress :invalid server address specified.

Retry the operation. If the problem persists, check the Bug Toolkit application for any known issues on the running image version.

Device Import Result : Failed

End Time:Mon Jan 16 14:47:50 MET 2006

SWIM0036: Could not add this image to software repository.

Import of s72033-pk9sv-mz.122-18.SXD4.bin from device failed

No action will be performed to add the image to the library.

Job Ended At : Mon Jan 16 14:49:24 MET 2006

try changing the protocol order from TFTP to RCP as the first option(if rcp is supported), this had worked in a similar issue.

we made an upgrade to lms 2.5.1. now it is working for the cat 6506.
