RME Custom Reports

Hi,

I'm trying to create a custom report template so that I can capture asset details for the installed hardware. So far I can get the details for the chassis, linecards, and Sup card but I can't seem to find the variables which will report the details for the PSU's and Fan trays.

I need the information so that I can provide it to the 3rd party maintainer and I didn't want to spend the next month typing "show inventory" on each device.

I'm using the following expressions -

System:Name:equals:All

AND:Chassis:Chassis Model Name:equals:All

AND:Chassis:Chassis Serial Number:equals:All

AND:Processor:Model Name:equals:All

AND:Processor:Serial Number:equals:All

AND:Module:Model Name:equals:All

AND:Module:Serial Number:equals:All

AND:System:System Object ID:equals:All

Any help gratefully received.

Re: RME Custom Reports

You can have RME - Tools - NetShow do the "show inventory" for you though, up to 10 devices ad-hoc, or an "unlimited" (~300) number if scheduled.

Re: RME Custom Reports

Thanks for that but I wanted the end result to be exportable either by pdf or csv.

Re: RME Custom Reports

That can be done: NMSROOT/bin/cwcli netshow jobresults -u admin -p admin -id Your-Job-ID-here

Re: RME Custom Reports

Is there an equivalent Windows command string?

TIA

Re: RME Custom Reports

It should be the same:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/net_mgmt/ciscoworks_resource_manager_essentials/4.2/user/guide/cwcli.pdf

"On Windows systems, install_dir\CSCOpx\bin

The default install directory is C:\Program Files."
