RME Support for VPN 3000s

I have two VPN 3000s and have added them to RME 4.0.2 however several things do not work.

The Archive retrieval doesnt work, it fails with a message of 'TELNET Protocol not supported for VPN3000 TFTP Protocol not supported for VPN3000 SSH Protocol not supported for VPN3000'

when I try to verify the credentials for the devices the verification report states Read Community OK, Telnet Incorrect, SSH incorrect. However if I try management station to device the Telnet and SSH say okay.

Anyone know what is wrong and why I can't retrieve the archive?

I think you need to enable http as a transport protocol either that of https and put it at the bottom of the protocol list. I had this exact same problem, and someone at TAC helped me with it.

Thanks for that info. I have added https to the protocol list and it works a treat.

One final problem though, the inventory collection fails. A collection job states device sensed but collection failed. any idea of what I need to do to collect the inventory?
