RMON and ATM circuits

Hi

I'm trying to setup RMON on an ATM circuit to do the following:

1) To alert the management system when the link utilization reaches 85%

2) To alert the management system when the link utilization drops below the 85% mark

I would prefer to achieve this by specifying a percentage as apposed manually calculating the 85% mark in bits/second as the command can be rolled out to various sites which may have different link speeds.

Does anyone know the following:

1) What mib is required to achieve this?

2) What commands are required to achieve this. (excluding SNMP server commands)

Thanks. EP

Re: RMON and ATM circuits

If your devices supports basic mini rmon you can do something like shown in this link:

http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/477/RMON/18.html

However, this will use octets and not actual % values.

If you have a NAM it can be much easier using the graphical interface that comes with it.

If you have CiscoView you could also like at the miniRmon tool
