Can we have rmon alarm rising and falling threshold for interface utilization by %age
I found only possible by octets/bytes.

RMON can only watch straight SNMP objects (without the ability to run calculations). The closest SNMP objects to what you what are locifInBitsSec and locifOutBitsSec (input and output bits per second). However, by using something like the EXPRESSION-MIB or the Embedded Event Manager, you could actually trigger an event on utilization percentage. What version of code are you using?

Using locifInBitsSec and locifOutBitsSec (input and output bits per second) i can define rising and falling threshold to send alarm lets say at 50Mbps of FE interface. However which version would this support EXPRESSION-MIB or the Embedded Event Manager, to trigger an event on utilization percentage.
Thanks for the answer.
