RSPAN does not forword packet

Dear all,

i have catalyst 6513 as core connected to it 2 catalyst 3750,i configured one 3750 switch as monitored switch and the other as monitoring switch, as the folowwing:

sw1> monitor session 1 source vlan 400

sw1> monitor session 1 destination remote vlan 401

---------------------------------------

sw2> monitor session 2 source remote vlan 401

sw2> monitor session 2 destination interface fastEthernet1/0/7

i think its standard configuration because when i deploy this configuration on 2 switches direct connected its worked fine , but when i apply on my real topolgy its does not work.

note, i create remote span Vlan on the all topology,

so please any one has solution and why this configuration does not work

Re: RSPAN does not forword packet

All network traffic, including the multicast and bridge protocol data unit (BPDU) packets, can be monitored using SPAN (RSPAN does not support monitoring of BPDU packets or Layer 2 protocol packets such as CDP, DTP, and VTP). Multicast packet monitoring is enabled by default.
