sadiags.xml???

I just came across the above named file in $NMSROOT/bin on my PROD LMS server. It looks innocent enough, but I don't find any on my other PROD box or the TEST one. Just curious what it's for.

It's a diagnostic file for database. I believe this is sybase related.

Would you know under what circumstances it gets produced (autonomously, I assume)? Also, it's curious it goes into bin, rather than say /var/adm/CSCOpx/log/.

This is not a logfile, hence it's not in the CSCOpx/log/ folder.

Its a file used to run diagnostics.

I believe the file is there since the install, it's for Sybase diagnostics. If db crashes happened, there will be crash files generated:

For example:

SA10_20080110_185142_5863.crash_log

-rw------- 1 root root 1941504 Jan 10 18:51 SA10_20080110_185142_5863.mini_core

I dont know how much LMS uses this at this point.
