Search by Serial Number

Is there a way to search for a specific serial number in CiscoWorks?

I note that when doing inventory reports (Hardware Report) in the report generator, 3750 switch stacks do not show the serial numbers of each switch, rather, just that of the master.

I'm looking for a specific serial number that I can't physically locate, and can't figure out how to query by serial number to see if it's even present. Any help appreciated.

In the Detailed Device Report, there is a Chassis Information section that will list each member in the stack and show you its serial number. You can even create a custom report with just that data. To do that, go to RME > Reports > Custom Report Templates and create a new Inventory report.

The rule here will be Chassis:Chassis Serial Number:equals:All or equals:VALUE where VALUE is the serial number you are looking for.
