Server Migration.

Hi,

We are planning to change the server platform for LMS from solaris to windows, is it possible to use the same License for this or do we have to get a new one?

Also, can a backup taken in solaris for LMS can be restored in windows and vice-versa.

Any help would be appriciated.

The licenses are interchangeable. The data is not. You will not be able to take the data from your Solaris server, and restore it to your Windows server. The best you can do is export your DCR device list, then import the list into the new server.
