Hi,
Our topology consists of 1x 3700 trunk to 8x 3560 switch stack. We use VLANs per department with different network address per VLAN.
Basically, we want to shape a specific VLAN to a speed once they reach a quota (10Gig download)...
Is this possible running a simple network?
We are using 3700 Software (C3725-ADVSECURITYK9-M), Version 12.4(7c) and Cisco standard IOS on our switch stack.
Otherwise, I may have to use time-range QOA to shape traffic on specific time of the day.
Thanks
Peter

I am not aware of a mechanism which can do it on basis of a total quota, but we can shape it based on the rate of transfer (which will be a good way) on congested interfaces. Also you can probably calculate the rate based on download allowed per day and allow the same.
it might be useful.
Cheers,

Hi Naveen,
Thanks, I thought so.
I know it requires 3rd party application to set quota.
Ill check the document you posted.
Thanks
Peter
