Signaling Link Monitoring

I have Ciscoworks installed with other packages but I am unable to monitor the signaling link (int s0/0:15)on my Cisco SLT. I want my monitoring system to send me e-mail notification once the signaling link goes down or comeback up.

I welcome any suggestions if you ever pass through this challenge.

DFM should be able to do this for you.

You to put the device in a group. Create notification for this group. Limit notification to link up/down events

You can also setup syslogs on the device and then setup automated actions in RME. This way when a link down syslog message is sent you will be able to use the automated action to send an email to you.
