SNMP for sending ARP commands to Routers

hi to everybody,

i am a student doing my graduation project about networking, i also take CCNA semester 1 and 2,

i am preparing a web application for university's computer center, i need to open internet access for students in the dormitories, by combining their IP address and MAC address (forming an ARP Command), and sending this ARP command to the CISCO Router so they have access,

i am using asp.net2005 with c#,

i think i need to use SNMP,(wsnmp32.dll), to send the ARP command that are prepared already.

Can anybody help me,how to configure the Router, can i do this using only wsnmp32.dll ,about the programming part?

any document or link will help so much, thank for ur replies, have a nice day

Re: SNMP for sending ARP commands to Routers

Not sure what you're looking for exactly, but you might want to look at the CISCO-PING-MIB or the CISCO-RTTMON-MIB if you are trying to generate pings.

It really depends on what type of device you are configuring.
