I've problems to obtain correct answers from snmp requests on Cisco devices, I've tried with the information available on the Cisco's site. Appreciate if somebody help me to find the right references.
MIB instrumentation wasn't very good in Cisco routers when I developed NMS for several Cisco routers a few years ago. I had to write scripts using IOS for a lot of my info. Also, for card specific MIBs to be populated the card must be seated. Look at the release notes for MIBs specifics about your device, sometimes this helps.
