Hello,

are there OID's to monitor each core CPU utilization for a WS-C4506-E or is there only an overall core CPU utilization possible?

Processor board ID FXS1736Q25X
P5040 CPU at 2.2GHz, Supervisor 8-E

#sh processes cpu sorted
Core 0: CPU utilization for five seconds: 17%; one minute: 17%;  five minutes: 17%
Core 1: CPU utilization for five seconds: 2%; one minute: 1%;  five minutes: 1%
Core 2: CPU utilization for five seconds: 0%; one minute: 0%;  five minutes: 0%
Core 3: CPU utilization for five seconds: 8%; one minute: 6%;  five minutes: 6%

Unfortunately there is no SNMP oid which can share per core CPU stats.

You may have to work with TAC, they can assist you to configure a EEM script which can in return get per core CPU for you.

That script can collect the CPU details of each core, note it down and than you can access that details by using a custom OID used from EXPRESSION-MIB.

Hi ,

As my friend Vinod said , it is unfortunately not possible, an enhancement request is there to address the issue but so far no fix.

SNMP walk on the cpmCPUTotalTable returns values only for active CPU
