SNMP-SERVER Community PUBLIC IPv6

We have a CAT 4510R running IOS 12.2(25)EW . We do not get a response from a SNMP QUERY to one of the IPv6 addresses on the Switch. The config for SNMP-SERVER community does not have an IPv6 parm. When will this be supported? I looked at the doc for IOS 12.2(31) . I can not find a SNMP-SERVER COMMUNITY configuration cmd. How can I code a community name with 12.2(31) ?

SNMP over IPv6 is not currently supported on the Cat4500 series. It is planned for a future release, but I do not know the time table as to when that release will be available. Currently, the only switches to support SNMP over IPv6 are Cat6500s running 12.2(33)SRB code.
