Hi all

I have 3825 router with 12.3(14)T7 IOS and I want to know if it's possible for the router to send snmp trap when he lost his association with a NTP server ?

Thank you very much

Without a complete show ver, it's difficult to tell if this device supports the CISCO-NTP-MIB. However, even if it does, this MIB does not define any traps, so there would be no simple way of generating a trap. However, this IOS does support the Embedded Event Manager, and you could craft an EEM policy that could either check for NTP syslog messages, CISCO-NTP-MIB variables (if supported), or NTP cli commands. If it detects a lost association, EEM can generate a trap with configurable data.

For information on EEM can be found at http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps6441/products_configuration_guide_chapter09186a00807c676c.html .
