snmpv3 issue

hi

i configured snmp v3 in nexus switch as following :

username user1 password  pass1 role vdc-operator
snmp-server user  user1   vdc-operator auth SHA pass1  priv aes-128 pass2 localizedkey
 

i tried to connect to this switch via one snmpv3 client (deviceexpert from manageengine) but i can't

how to troubleshoot it ?

Hi ,

check if the device is responding via SNMPv2 ?

Create a user with NOAUTHNO PRIV and see if it works..

make sure you NMS has the right credentials..
