SNMPv3 on cisco router

I have tried to configure SNMPV3 on cisco router I have copied and pasted the below config to the router

snmp-server group LoriotNoAuth v3 noauth

snmp-server user LoriotNoAuthUser LoriotNoAuth v3

snmp-server host 10.33.10.122 version 3 noauth LoriotNoAuthUser

But I have noticed that there is no traps getting generated (while debug snmp packtes) when there is an incident (interface up down etc)

Whether the config is ok or any thing else to be done? Please help

Re: SNMPv3 on cisco router

You're missing the "snmp-server enable traps" line(s) that enables SNMP notifications (traps and informs). See the "Configuring Informs" section. You probably don't want the "snmp-server manager" however.
