Hi

As per the datasheet available its supported in the router..

do refer this doc for same .

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/routers/ps4866/products_data_sheet09186a008010e5c4.html

regds

If you speak about hosts you mean pc's?

Are you sure they speak sntp? (properly like in RFC?)

Try another cisco router/switch as sntp client.

Cheers,

Michel

Yes i wanna synchronise my PC Time with the Tool SG Zeit 2006.

It can SNTP an NTP. ( Says the documentation )

greetings

Yes the datasheet say's he can, but ...

Router : Soho91

IOS : soho91-k9oy6-mz.123-8.T.bin

What means the Datasheet with : SNTP client and server [SNMP] <<<

My Port-scan says only Port 123 ( UDP ) is open.

Greetings

Well...123 is the port for NTP servers and it uses a random port for connecting to other time servers.

Have you got the SG Zeit 2006 working anywhere?.

I used automachron from http://oneguycoding.com/ .

It worked perfectly on a c2503.

Cheers,

Michel

Also see if the router is syncronised

sh ntp aso or something like that.

It may be so that the ntp client won't sync with a server that is not syncronised itself.

Which makes sense.

Cheers,

Michel

The soho91 is synchronized by another Router. That works fine.

The Tool SG Zeit 2006 get the Time from any Router in our WAN, thats not the problem. But any Soho91 Router are quiet.

Greetings

Do a "debu ntp pack" on router.

Use "ter mon" to make debug come live on screen.

Try to make the app talk to the router.

Doesn't the tool have a logging feature? Any clues in there?

Cheers,

Michel
