Solarwinds Engineer's Toolset VS. Advent OpUtils

Which do you prefer and why? We utilize Engineer's Toolset 9.2, but in my limited exposure to OpUtils I am impressed with some of the features. An example would be the ability to schedule regular config downloads in the Config File Manager. I don't see that in Solarwind's Eng. Toolset.

What do you think?

Re: Solarwinds Engineer's Toolset VS. Advent OpUtils

I believe both of them use TFTP & SNMP write to collect the config files. All of that is in clear text.

If you look at the big brother of both those software Orion NCM & DeviceExpert you can collect the configs with SSH.

Also a free tool call ZipTie (now called NetworkAuthority Inventory) you can do the same.

Just my 2 cents.
