Subject: SMTP CONFIGURATION PROBLEM.

We have Exchange server environment, I need to configure SMTP in DFM on CiscoWorks-2.5, for all Alert massages coming from the device to Alerts and activities, in DFM.

Under DFM è Alert and activities è If I Click on a particular Alert it will show all the Events of that alert, and then you find the option è Notify, if you give the source e-mail address and the destination e-mail address it works fine.

I need to configure this automate; if I get any alert for a device which I had configured, I need CiscoWorks to send automatic e-mail.

Please help me solve this Issue,

Hi,

unfortunately we are using DFM ver 2.0, and the above link contain the info about 1.1 and 1.2.

please give me some inputs on 2.0.
