Syslog backup policy

Somenthing happened to syslog flat files.

E.g yesterdays flat file dated 13.9 1:00 shows syslog messages dated 5-6.9 and file appears two times. What can i do. Any experience.

Are you getting any error messages? Can you enable debugging and check if the console is throwing error messages.

Ok thanks. Good idea. But i cant find please where

i can enable debugging for that syslog action.
