Syslog file grows very fast. How do i purge it regulary?

I am running LMS2.5, my syslog file on this path "F:\Program Files\CSCOpx\log\syslog.log" grows very fast. How do i purge it regulary?

logrot.pl , a perl script will do that for you. You can find it on cpan.org .

logrot is actually built in to LMS2.5

Check for it under CSCOpx\bin

To set it up run the command:

perl logrot.pl -c

After you configure it, add the task (logrot)to the windows scheduler to run it periodically
