Hello everyone,

We have many Cisco network devices in our network, devices like switches, routers, firewalls,IPs ,... and for monitoring purpos we enabled logging on all of devices ,they all send syslog Debugging information to one syslog server, now i want to add another syslog server but with another logging level ,for example informational level ,I mean i want to have two syslog servers but with two different level of logging being sent to them, Is it possible at all ?if so how should i configure this ?

Re: Syslog filters !

This is not possible across all platforms.  Certain IOS devices support a feature called Embedded Syslog Manager which will allow you to control which hosts receive which messages.  More on ESM can be found at http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/docs/ios/12_3t/12_3t2/feature/guide/gt_esm.html .
