Syslog.log and Log Rotation

Hello Everyone,

We are Ciscoworks LMS 4.0.1, I want to keep the syslogs of 180 days with the LMS but every day we see that a purge of the syslog.log despite the following configuration:

Log Rotation:  D:\CSCOpx\log\syslog.log 4194304 gz 3

Purge Syslog:

Purge Policy

Purge records older than: * days

Scheduling
	Run Type: Daily Weekly Monthly Date: *

is there a way to keep the file syslog.log for 180 days and every month he is purging only the syslogs of more than 180 days ?

Youre screen shot shows the "days" and "Date" fields as blank. When they are set properly, what you are proposing should work.

Purge older than is 180 days and one day of month scheduling, but every day purge syslog.log.
