I am helping out a school that is using about 30 Aironet 1200's and is restricting access the their wireless network through a mac-based acl. All of the APs are running autonomously so when a new student/teacher is permitted access to the school's wireless network, the mac-addresses need to be added to the acl list on all 30 devices.
Is there a better way to accomplish this task then to log into each ap? Could this process of adding additional mac-addresses to the acl be scripted using Tcl? Is it possible to have Tcl read a file that contains a list of AP IP addresses and add a list of permitted mac-addresses to the acl from another file, then save the configuration and move onto the next AP?
Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
