Hello, I have problems with events that appear in HPOV, many events that seems represent fallen interfaces, but really switches does not have any fallen interface, then, what could be happening that generates the HPOV interprets that an interface of switch has fallen? .... If you watch syslog of switch to see if some interface has fallen, it does not appear events in log.
The logging level on your switch may not be set at a level that will display this information or send it to the buffer. It may differ depending on switch type, IOS or CatOS version, but check out this link for starters.
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
