tune the route

Hi,

we find that our router (73XX) utilization is following:

R1:

CPU utilization Gi ethernet usage

4.8% 2.5M

9% 3.8M

12% 5M

16% 8M

base on above figure, the CPU will grow to 100% when the bandwidth is nearly 41M - 52M

We enable the auto QoS, static route, 802.1Q (VLAN) and NAT. which one comsume the CPU time? any idea to tunne the serices (or move it to another devices). Please advice.

obviously qos will be using the most and also NAT which mite end up in using the same level.

did u check for the process using high cpu cycles in ur router.

that will also help you out to find out the process and fine tune the same if possible.
