UDP Listener / LMS 4.01-4.1

I have a situation where the LMS 4.01 server send UDP packets to various devices in ports that are not specified in the port usage, usually in the range of 33430 - 33523 which are blocked by our firewall.

I was looking in the port usage table and couldn't find anything related but found the following:

In LMS 4.0, UDP packets sent by the database server in response to client broadcasts do not contain any sensitive information. The data in these packets is limited to:

Database server name

Port number

Database server version

Names of databases running on the database server

If you want to disable the UDP listeners completely, you must upgrade to LMS 4.1.

So I now have LMS 4.1 installed and would like to know:

1. Why clients broadcast and what they are expecting to receive?

2. How/where I can disable UDP listeners?
