Re: Unable to define collector IPM source ip address

This usually indicates a problem in the device's SNMP response. It would be helpful to see a sniffer trace filtering on all udp/161 traffic to this device when you try and add the collector.

Re: Unable to define collector IPM source ip address

not sure whether this helps or not, seems that IPM do not recognize the interface in the router device?

Re: Unable to define collector IPM source ip address

This confirms that there is some sort of device issue, but a sniffer trace would shed even more light on the exact mismatch. Additionally, it would be helpful to see the show ver and show run from this device.

IPM 2.6 Cannot add collectors using Source Interface on Windows2003.

Symptom:

If one tries to create a collector using a source router with a valid "Source Interface" IP, the following error

will be shown:

AddCollErrLatency test

Reason: Bad number instances

Conditions:

This seems to be only a problem with IPM running Windows2003 platforms. Other platforms may not be

affected.

Workaround:

None.
