Dear All,

We are using Cisco works LMS 3.0.1 in our company.

The version of common services is 3.1.1 and campus manager is 5.0.4 .

The devices we are using are

Phone model

CP-7971G-GE Firmware SCCP70.8-3-5S

CP-7961G SCCP41.8-3-2S

Switch model:

Switch Model: Cat3560G48PS

Switch Version: 12.2(35)SE5 (IP Base)

Even after updation of latest version of campus manger .we are unable to get ip phones in list .

It is showing 0 ip phones in Data collection in campus manager.

The IP phones are visible on the 'show cdp neighbor' output on the switch, but on the CiscoWorks 'Device Center' for the switch they are not listed as CDP neighbors

Is their any other process to be done to get ip phones in data collection.

Thanks

Ashraf

In order for User Tracking to show IP phones, the Call Manager to which the phones are registered must be Data Collected by Campus Manager, and showing up with a green Application Service icon on the Topology map. The phones should also be seen as regular end hosts in UT.

One addition to it (someone posted it here not that long ago) without which my CM 5.1 would not discover the phones, even though the Call Managers were green and the phones were identified as hosts: the subnet based aquisition must be off in CM

This is bug CSCsu50527 which will be fixed in CM 5.0.5 and 5.1.3. Patches are available from TAC.
