Unidentified Trap in DFM 2.0

Hi,

I get an unidentified trap message in DFM. When I try and suspend it I get the following error message:

"Cannot retrieve the Detailed Device View for Unidentified trap. This device may no longer exist. Please look in DDV.log for details."

The device from which the message was associated has since been removed from the network and ciscoworks.

I cannot remove this line from DFM.

Any ideas ?

I think the error message that you are seeing is a known issue. When an unmanaged device sends a pass-through trap to ITM 2.0, the event will be added to the "Unidentified Trap" bucket. If that device is then added as a managed device before the event is cleared from Unidentified Traps, there is no way to clear that event manually. There is no workaround for this.
