Upgrade Cisco Works LMS 4.0 to Cisco Prime LMS 4.2

Hi,

Actually I have to migrate from Cisco Works LMS 4.0 working on windows 2008 standar server  to Prime LMS 4.2.

Cisco works have licenses to support up to 1500 devices. Now I had acquired 2 upgrade licenses "Prime Infrastructure LMS 4.2 -100 Device upgrade".

The question is: What I need to licensing the new Cisco Prime LMS up to 1500 devices?

Taking on hand that i have two licenses, each one for 100 devices.

Thanks.

If you upgrade in place, your current 1500 device license would carry forward. Adding two 100-device license files would make the total a 1700 device license.

If you migrate to a new host during the upgrade, you would need to provide the original 1500 device license file plus the two 100-device files. If you no longer have the original one, you'll have to contact the TAC and request licensing support. The specialists there can confirm your eligibility and re-issue a new 1500 device license file.
