User Tracking in Cisco Works LMS 4.0

Hi,

I installed Cisco works LMS 4.0 recently without any prior training.

Just went thru deployment guide & followed the steps.

Almost all the features are configured but customer need a User tracking with IP Address & User name.

I configured some of the parameter in user tracking but when i generated the report with All Host Entries. I only able to see the mac address. Device name, & ports but no Ip address.

Can anyone tell me what i am missing?

Hard to say exactly without more information about your network.

One thought is that IP address will typically be gathered from the devices' default gateway(s). If they are using a firewall as their d/g, UT will not pick up that information. Please also see page 25 of the excellent "LMS 4.1 (not just) For Dummies" document here.
