UT problem & error log4j in UT.log

Hi,

We have problems with the UT, it seems UT was working, we saw 10009 devices, but the number stays the same, after some weeks we did an init of the DB but we have still the same number of devices. I can see the following error in the ut.log

log4j:ERROR No appenders could be found for category (CTM.common).

log4j:ERROR Please initialize the log4j system properly.

This error is not something that would cause this to happen. What version of CM are you running?

We are using CM version 4.04

I have still no solution for my UT problem, can someone advice what i could or should check.

You have not provided enough details for any more advice to be given. There are a few bugs you might be hitting off the top of my head, but without a full ut.log with vmpsadmin debugging enabled, it will be impossible to know for certain what the problem is.

Given that the ut.log can be quite large, you would be better off setting up the debug, running a full User Tracking major acquisition, then opening a TAC Service Request with the resulting log.
