Utlite Discovery

Hi Guys

I have discovered using the utlite scripts all the users attached to the network in my paris office and London office, which use VLANS, however i cannot see the user details when the script has been run from networks with a Flat network. This may be coincidence but does anyone know if this would have an effect?

This could be a known bug in UTLite regarding the format of the MAC addresses sent. If UTLite is sending the MAC addresses with colon delimiters, then UT may ignore those MACs. The bug is CSCsj42193, and a patch is available by calling the TAC (note: it only affects LMS 2.x).

The best way to debug UTLite problems is getting a sniffer trace on the LMS server to first confirm that UTLite entries are making it to UT. Once that is confirmed, internal debugging depends on the version of Campus Manager.
