Vlan change audit filter

I want to enable the vlan change audit filter (RME -> Admin -> ChangeAudit -> Config Change Filter). However, when I check the option and click apply, it is unchecked again after the screen refreshes.

I use RME 4.0.5 running on Windows 2003 SP1.

Does anybody have a solution for this?

This is indicative of a bad installation. The necessary schema entries were not added to the database. You should uninstall and reinstall RME. Since you are on Windows, be sure to set your TEMP and TMP environment variables to something short like C:\TEMP before doing the reinstallation.

Thanks Joe. I was afraid that would be the answer.

A week ago i did a restore of the Original databases (dbRestoreOrig.pl). Do you think that caused the problem?

Ah, that may be a bug. I have seen other cases where the orig database did not get the necessary schema changes. If you open a TAC Service Request, SQL queries can be given that will restore this table.
