VMPS Server

Hi,

can I implement VMPS with normal Catalyst 3550? or do I need a 4500 or 6000 ? can the 3550 be client of an TFTP Server?

The Catalyst 3550 switch cannot be a VMPS server but can act as a client to the VMPS and communicate with it through the VLAN Query Protocol . Check out the following link for more info :
