Trying to get Cisco Prime Infrastructure express installed. The installation completes without any error but when I try to run show NCS or attempt to start stop the service get the following output

usdayt-cis-002/admin# show application status NCS
% Application NCS is not installed

usdayt-cis-002/admin# ncs start
sh: /opt/CSCOlumos/bin/wcsadmin.sh: No such file or directory

here's the output from show inventory

usdayt-cis-002/admin# show inventory

What hardware are you installing onto?

PI requires it be either on a Cisco Prime appliance or a VM guest OS on an ESXi server.

It's on a ESXi

Can you please confirm the exact name of the ova file you deployed to install PI Express?

PI-VA-2.1.0.0.87-Express

OK, that's the correct one. Can you verify the checksum of the file? It should be:

     91dc6ebc446c1c9c000c69af4be93102

If that's OK, I would delete the VM and try installing the ova once more.

Other than that, I'd suggest calling the TAC if it's a supported installation (i.e. not an evaluation copy).

yes thats the checksum. Thanks for the suggestion - I will try to reinstall the VM

Reinstall did the trick. PI is happy now.

thanks for your help
