What happens to LMS 2.5x when you remove RME?

What happens to LMS 2.5x when you remove the RME component? Do you lose the DCR functionality? How does this impact Campus Manager and DFM? Can RME even be removed?

I think DCR will be safe from the removal of RME. It's one of the few advantages of LMS 2.5.

How do you get new devices into the DCR, or manage existing ones without RME?

DCR is a part of Common Services in LMS 2.5, and independent from RME/CM/DFM/etc. This document should illustrate the new device inventory paradigm.

You may add them manually one by one, or via csv file.

You may also discover them using Campus Manager.
