Also, does any know packets with what errors would be dropped by an interface? For example, I know that the packets that have FCS or CRC errors would be dropped by a switch or router interface. But what about other type of errors such as Align-Err, FCS-Err, Xmit-Err, Rcv-Err, Undersize, OutDiscards, Runts, etc...
In answer to the previous question about finding the source IP of the device generating giants - it's not easy to answer this without more info as there are few cosmetic bug's relating to giants. A "show version" and "show interface" output would help narrow the field.
