Where are the LMS RME Inventory or Device Views files saved?

I am running LMS 2.2 RME 3.5 on Solaris 8.

I understand the inventory can be exported to a file, but where are the current inventory or "Device Views" files saved? Are they saved in a database or in a flast file? How can I find the list of devices?

My original problem is, when I checked

RME/Administration/Inventory/Import Status, and one screen pop up named "Add/Import Status Summary"

I have a lot of "Device Attribute Errors". I wish to find the file instead of checking the devices one by one from the browser.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

Jerry

The Device Views are part of the database.

In order to view the device attributes, you first need to create the file that contains the inventory.

Go to RME -> Admin -> Inventory -> Export to File

Select Comma Separated Values, Version 1

Enter a filename and click on Finish

The file will be in the following location:

/var/adm/CSCOpx/files/inventory

I would assume your device attribute error comes from missing or false "Device credentials" in the RME DB. Check the values in RME - Administration - Inventory - Check Device Credentials and see if they are correct. If not you have to set them using "change Attribute" or "Change Device Credentials"

Afterwards run an "Update Inventory"
