Where stores PI 1.3 the configuration files on the filesystem

Hello,

I've already read this posting:

https://supportforums.cisco.com/message/3908375#3908375

Where does PI 1.3 store the configuration files for the router and switches on the filesystem?

In LMS they were stored as *.cfg files in the shadow folder.

Is there something equivalent in PI .1.3 ?

Best regards

Bastian

Hi Bastian,

As per my knowledge " it keeps them by default in tftp and there is no shadow created like in lms or in database.

Hello Afroz,

yes you're right but there are (on my system) only the configuration files of all my WLAN controllers stored.

... I'm searching the configutaion files of my routers and switches.

Regards

Bastian

Hello Bastian,

I'm not sure if you are still looking for the config files location, but Prime Infrastructure doesn’t store configs in the files like LMS does. Configs are stored in the Oracle database in CONFIG_FILE table.

There is an enhancement request opened to store the configs in files as well. See below:

http://tools.cisco.com/Support/BugToolKit/search/getBugDetails.do?method=fetchBugDetails&bugId=CSCud84458

but it has no yet been decided in which version this functionality will be added.

Best Regards,

Greg
