I have a requirement to set-up remote emergencie support for a pair of 2911s.
Rather than set-up modems on the AUX ports, we have purchased WIC-1AM modules for the remote devices.
I'm pretty sure I've got them configured correctly for remote management, however due to a lack of modems in new laptops (or serial ports for that matter) We have also purchased a 2911 with a WIC-1AM for our central location to dial into the remote units.
I can't figure out how to set-up the central unit to be able to dial into the remote units for remote management. I don't really want this to be PPP solution as I don't want the 33.6K modem to accidentally become the backup for a 1Gb private circuit.
Does anyone know how to get the central site modem set-up to dial into the remote router for console access?
