Sorry, can you please advise what you mean by times settings to default?

Do you mean the clock setting goes back to default?

Do you save your configuration prior to reboot, using "wr memory" command?

What version of ASA are you running?

I mean the timeout setting like telnet ssh

I  do write mem before reboot

what's your ASA version?

asa version is 8.2(3)

can you please provide the steps that you have performed? I don't see how it can change back to default unless you have problem writing to flash when you save the config. Does any other configuration change changed back to default too?

I also don't see any bug where the telnet and ssh timeout change back to default after reloading the box.

You might want to open a TAC case to get it investigated further.

Hi

Sorry for the mistake its clock getting to default  after the reboot ...

How did you configure the clock? manually or via NTP?

Can you please show us the steps?

How is the clock configured? Manually or via NTP?

Can you please show us the steps and the output of "show clock" before and after the reload, and also saving the config prior to reload.

Hi,

It is configured via NTP

If it is NTP it should take it automatically  once the NTP server is reachable, what do you do in order to make it work again ?

Mike

Mike
