How to silence drop events IPS

Is it possible to silence drop events from the IPS? I do not see a way in the policy, unless I am missing something. Looking for option 'drop (but DONT generate event).

What device are you working with here FTD, AIP-SSM module?

If FTD are you using FMC?

As of right now, it is not possible to drop traffic without generating an alert using FMC/FTD.
