We are new to VPN and have never really tried to set up a VPN connection. We are currently dealing with a company that would like us to set up a site to site VPN connection in order to connect to their server. The problem is that we have a Windows 2003 server and they have a Cisco 3745 router and apparently we cannot establish a site to site VPN connection between these two. We have been told that we should be able to establish this type of connection if we use a Cisco PIX 501 or 506 hardware firewall. Can you please confirm that this is indeed the case and if anybody can suggest which is better (501 or 506) that would be a lot of help. Thanx
