The Cisco OnPlus team is happy to announce that we have and will continue to expand the support for the Cisco Integrated Service Router (ISR) G2 and the Cisco Catalyst Switch Platforms!
Over the last few releases, we began an effort to provide more granular support for Cisco's Classic IOS products. This effort has allowed us to build in better support, as we are now releasing OnPlus device drivers that are dedicated for specific product lines. With these more specific drivers, we can help drive an even greater level of quality and increased functionality for these platforms. We have started with support for our Cisco ISR G2 platforms and Catalyst 2960 platforms, but we will continue to expand this level of support for additional platforms in the near future. The supported device matrix has been updated with all of the new families that are supported and even some of the platforms that are on the horizon. I will continue to update the community as we progress with our development.
This also is a great chance to begin utilizing and converting your Classic IOS router and switch platforms that are not listed under the supported device matrix to our Generic Device Drivers. Cisco OnPlus supports both Generic IOS drivers and Generic SNMP drivers for both switches and routers. This provides an excellent option for supporting devices that have not yet been covered with our new specific device driver!
As always, we value your input greatly. Please let us know your feedback and input, we are always listening.
