Besides shutting off the monitoring on the OnPlus of duplicate IPs, is there a way to acknowledge the alert so it stops being sent? With devices that have fail over links using the same IP the alert keeps getting sent over and over, even though it is not an issue.
Hi, currently there is no 'acknowledge' function within OnPlus. There's also not currently any advanced options for monitors, such as adding a 'permit list' for that sensor that would squeltch alarms from expected duplicate IPs.
Disabling that sensor is your only recourse at the moment to prevent the deluge of events from coming in, but this is great feedback for possible future enhancements to OnPlus.
As a general FYI to any new OnPlus users that stumbles across this thread, you can completely disable the Duplicate IP monitor for a specific customer site by drilling into the ON100 from the customer's topology screen, and then click on the Monitors tab. There, you can completely disable this monitor.
