15454 and 15305 visibility issue on CTC

Hello guys,

Im currently setting up an optical network using 15454 and 15305. However, when I logged in to the 15454 which I configured as the GNE. It was not able to discover the 15305's (all of them are unknown) but the other 15454 node was visible. DCC has already been enabled on all nodes so there's no problem with that and aside from this I had it working a week ago. I had everything visible and I was able to create circuits between 15305 and 15454 but for whatever reason I lost visibility to the 15305's. Is this a java

version issue? what would be the correct java version to run CTC and display both of them in one session? Is there any configuration I need to enable on the 15454 or 15305 in order for them to be discovered or discover other nodes?

reset the XTC card in 15305 and try again visibilty will restore .

tnx man, ive already solved the problem. actually it was just the proxy socks settings on the 15454. i just disable (uncheck) it. Here's the guidelines i learned from one of the cisco guys here...

1- No more than 2 clients connected (CTC and CTM are considered clients, the CTM cross launched CTC has to be considered as an additional clients)

2- if 454 and 305 are on the same subnet and connected each other by DCC, do not connect the 305 on the LAN (arpproxy caveat)

3- if 454 and 305 are on the same subnet and connected each other by DCC, do not enable the SOCKS proxy on 454.

4- if 454 and 305 are on the same subnet and connected each other by DCC, put a static default route in the LAN connected 454 (0.0.0.0) in order to let the 305 to reach the external DCN.
